TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Tourism Administration held an event in Bangkok on Friday promoting its “Taiwan 100 Ways” campaign. The event featured videos of four Thai influencers traveling around Taiwan. The influencers visited several cities and counties, exploring destinations and experiences less familiar to Thai tourists, according to CNA.



TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said Tuesday the company remains committed to long-term operations in both Taiwan and Israel amid geopolitical tensions. As the Iran war enters its third week, Huang addressed geopolitical concerns at a Q&A session at Nvidia GTC 2026 in San Jose, per CNA. Huang said his firm employs 6,000 people in Israel and the company is concerned about their safety, though operations there remain stable.


Taipei, March 19 (CNA) Starlux Airlines has been named the world's fifth best airline by Airline Ratings, the highest-ever placing by a Taiwanese carrier. According to Airline Ratings, its 2026 World's Best Airline rankings considered in-flight products and passenger experience based on measurable onboard criteria rather than public opinion or voting.


Taipei, March 17 (CNA) Taiwan's Smart City Summit & Expo kicked off Tuesday in Taipei, showcasing the nation's strengths in digital governance and smart public services. The event, designed to highlight Taiwan's technological "soft power," features more than 2,250 booths and over 70 professional forums from Tuesday to Friday in Taipei and from Friday to Sunday in Kaohsiung, organizers said.



TSMC Chair C. C. Wei says the company manufactures around 95% of the chips powering today’s robots, often designed by firms like Nvidia and AMD. Speaking in Taichung after receiving an honorary doctorate, Wei emphasized that computing power is the key to robotics development.
